1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Ikigaizen ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Modify or copy the materials except for personal use
Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display
Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Service
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Ikigaizen at any time.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Service for any purpose other than that for which we make the Service available. The Service may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those specifically endorsed or approved by us. As a user, you agree not to:

Systematically retrieve data or content to create a collection, compilation, or database without written permission
Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, especially in any attempt to learn sensitive account information
Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service
Use any information obtained from the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person
Make improper use of our support services or submit false reports of abuse or misconduct
Use the Service in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations
Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other malicious code
Engage in automated use of the system, such as using scripts to send messages or using data mining tools
Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Service or networks connected to the Service
Attempt to impersonate another user or person or use the username of another user

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ikigaizen and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both India and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Ikigaizen. The Ikigai assessment methodology, questions, algorithms, and resulting analyses are proprietary to Ikigaizen.

6. User Content

By submitting responses to our assessments or providing feedback, you grant Ikigaizen a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and analyze such content for the purpose of improving our services, conducting research, and providing you with personalized results.

Your assessment responses will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share individual responses publicly and any aggregated data used for research purposes will be anonymized.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Ikigaizen makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation:

Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
That the Service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis
That the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
That the quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Service will meet your expectations

Important: The Ikigai assessment and results are provided for informational and self-discovery purposes only. They do not constitute professional career counseling, psychological advice, or therapy. For important life decisions, we recommend consulting with qualified professionals.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Ikigaizen, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Damages resulting from any decisions made based on assessment results
Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information
Damages resulting from any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
Damages resulting from any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if Ikigaizen has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ikigaizen and its licensors, employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms of Service; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.
